KWAKer youth raise $100 for Animal Rescue League

After setting their goal and planning out their actions, the Urbandale KWAKers donated $100 to the Animal Rescue League on November 9, 2013!  This ambitious group of sixteen youth worked together to raise awareness of the needs of homeless and injured animals.  Along their journey, they learned about various animal shelters, had lively debates about which organization they should support, partnered with the Clive Jaycees for the Woofin’ It 5K event, made and sold KWAKer Kleaner, and held a Halloween BOOtique.  They are excited to start a new project in January...
