Community Youth Concepts is working with Des Moines Public Schools to build a Ropes Course at Stowe Elementary School! This will be a great resource for youth and adults in Des Moines, and one of our first steps to make this a reality is to clear out the brush on the property. We’ll have our first clean up day on Saturday, October 6 from Noon-4:00pm, but come when you can leave when you have to!

Please wear long sleeves and pants; no open-toed shoes. If you have and would like gloves, please bring them. CYC has gloves that will also be on-site. Tools such as hand held cutters, pruners, and loppers are appreciated. CYC will have some on-site, as well as wheelbarrows. Volunteers should be over age 12 unless prior authorization has been given by CYC staff.
