We wouldn’t do what we do if we didn’t love it. With that comes the need to have some unanticipated fun once in a while. Most of the fun is appropriate for youth and for adults.

Past Random Acts of Fun…

Summer 2010: Creative environmental PSA made with the help of Yvette Hermann and Naima Nicholson with the Metro Arts Alliance.

Summer 2010: Creation of the mural in the CYC offices with the help of the KWAKers and Culture, Inc.

Summer 2010: Dream It. Des Moines. Sidewalk Chalk Flood held in the Western Gateway Park in downtown Des Moines.  Over 350 came and helped us flood the Pappajohn Center sidewalks.

Fall 2010: Fourteen joined us for a geocaching workshop, held by CYC volunteer Cindy Perry.

Fall 2010: CYC Halloween party for UNICEF.  Twenty-four youth were involved in the efforts to raise funds for UNICEF, while having some fun and learning about children in third world countries.
